Welcome to the website for Chicago Central District’s Nazarene Missions International! We hope that you put this site in your "favorites" section and visit it often.

Our District NMI President is Pastor Rodney J. Miller. Contact information for Pastor Miller is included on the home page, as well as the district journal. Feel free to contact him with any exciting news or ideas you might like to share with others, or if you have any questions about the NMI program for your church. We’ll do our best to find the answers you need.

Many of your questions, however, may be answered within the various menu items of this web site. Here you’ll find links to the various programs and activities sponsored by your district NMI, including opportunities for personal involvement through Work & Witness, monthly emphases, missionaries who are touring the district while on home assignment (and their available dates if you would like to schedule a visit to your church), and much, much more. The President’s Tool Box includes all of the helpful information that was included in your packet from district convention.

A new and exciting addition to our web site is Pastor Miller’s Missionary Musings. Here you will find a brief monthly devotional thought along with ideas for the upcoming monthly emphasis. Feel free to use any of these ideas, or to adapt them to fit your local congregational needs. We also will include news from your local NMI program and ideas you have to share, as space permits.

All of this is an attempt to provide information, inspiration, and ideas for the promotion of the global mission of the Church – ideas that may be used by congregations of any size.

We hope this site becomes a valuable resource to you as we work together to "Share the Cross".

OUR MISSION
- To mobilize the church in mission through prayer, education, giving, and interactive experiences. mpo.jpg

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • Intercessory prayer for the efforts for world evangelism.
  • Informing others of this world’s needs, and what they can do to help meet those needs.
  • Involving children and youth in the cause of world evangelism.
  • Increased funding for the cause of world evangelism.

OUR STRUCTURE - Each local church elects an NMI president and council. The District also elects a president and council at the district convention, whose job is to coordinate district-wide efforts and help each local church meet the above four objectives.
